The Estate extends over uncontaminated hillside rich in flora and fauna, characterized by a Mediterranean microclimate. A natural balance of temperature changes characterizes this terroir, conferring remarkable fertility to calcareous and clay- loam soils. This land, rich in potassium, is ideal for vines and olives. The Aglianico del Vulture DOC denomination legally refers to an area in the North of the Basilicata Region. More precisely, it consists of 15 small townships, including Lavello and the Bisceglia Estate.
